OUR STORY

Many years before creating my first bar of soap I was working at a swim school. My skin was exposed to heated water and chlorine on a daily basis. I began to develop very dry skin in which no soap or body butter could ease the irritation.

 

I began to look for other products that were cleansing and nourishing enough to soothe my dry skin. With no luck finding anything on the market, I researched how to make my own body wash with milk and other skin loving ingredients.

 

After some research, I stumbled upon soap making from scratch. At first, I used a recipe I found online then quickly realized I wanted something more gentle.

 

With confidence gained from practicing with recipes formulated by other people, I experimented with my own recipe until I was happy with the conditioning factor of my soap.

 

Three years and many compliments later, I decided to turn this into a business.

My vision for this business is to provide high quality products for people with sensitivities to commercial products.

When the product is all made by human hands, it becomes more personal, an endeavor of the heart. You know the creation and the process are carefully monitored. From the lining of the molds to the pouring of the soap batter, each ingredient is carefully selected to bring you the highest quality ingredients.

 

NATURAL INGREDIENTS

We keep our ingredients close to nature. Only those that are essential for each product are included in our recipes. We search local farms and business for our ingredients.

ENVIRONMENTALLY MINDFUL

Our products are free of palm oil, animal fats or any other ingredient that would be harmful to the environment or stem from potentially destructive farming practices. Coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter together create an alternative to palm oil. The formula is based on 70% or more olive oil, which combined with the other ingredients, creates a richer, fuller lather, deeper conditioning and a better bar of soap.
